I took a Prayer Team to the small country of Macau in order to pray with missionaries there on the occasion of the transfer of their country from Portuguese rule to Chinese rule. Prior to the trip I had asked the church where I was serving as Interim Pastor to please remember me in prayer during my trip to Macau. Upon my return a grandmother in the church told me of the mealtime prayer when the Amen was followed by her grandson’s exclamation, “We forgot to pray for Dr. Crawford’s cow!” It took the family several minutes to determine what the child meant, as he kept repeating, "Dr. Crawford asked us to pray for his cow.” I’m just glad someone in the family was listening when I made the request to pray for Macau.
