Inspiration Needed, Inspiration Shared
Some weeks I get to the final minutes with no specific inspiration for a Monday Morning Manna subject. This has been such a week. On Tuesday, my wife had a Pacemaker implanted, but not until after challenges with Insurance, Blood Lab and the Surgical Center. The post- surgery days were also a bit challenging until Friday night when things began to improve. Then on Saturday morning, she fell. The remainder of the day was spent at the Emergency Room and then admitted to the Hospital. Now in addition to the post Pacemaker lack of left hand usage, she had multiple fractures in the right wrist, now making both hands unusable. Discussions are ongoing as to the possibility of care in the next few days. So, not much time or inspiration for a Monday Manna. Then a social media friend sent this verse . “I will be the same until your old age, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you.” (Isaiah 46:4, CSB) and then another friend sent Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Amen! I needed those verses. Perhaps someone else needs them also.
