When someone shares too much information, they are often met with the initials, TMI. What happens when one shares too much vision? It\u2019s an old, but still good, story. Might even be a true story. In the midst of his sermon, a preacher exclaimed, \u201cIf this church wants to be great, it needs to walk with God,\u201d to which the congregation replied, \u201cLet it walk, Pastor!\u201d Inspired at the response, the preacher continued, \u201cIf this church wants to be great, it needs to run with God,\u201d to which the congregation replied, \u201cLet it run, Pastor!\u201d Sensing momentum, the preacher said, \u201cIf this church wants to be great it needs to fly with God,\u201d to which the congregation replied, \u201cLet it fly, Pastor!\u201d On a communication roll, the preacher said, \u201cIf this church wants to be great, it needs more money,\u201d to which the congregation replied, \u201cLet it walk, Pastor!\u201d The Bible warns, \u201cWhere there is no vision, the people perish\u201d (Proverbs 29:18 KJV), but similar results can be expected, if a leader shares too much vision (TMV?) with followers.<\/p>\n
