Yesterday was Mother\u2019s Day. Even though my mother re-located to heaven seventeen years ago, she fits the description of Able of Old Testament days, \u201che being dead still speaks\u201d (Hebrews 11:4). Although she had many memorable lines, her most remembered statement, reflecting her always-positive attitude, even in the midst of difficult circumstances, was \u201cIt will all be better tomorrow.\u201d No matter what my aches and pains were, I got no sympathy from my mother, only this statement! Even into my adult years, when I would call home and share some stressful situation, I would hear the same predictable statement, about tomorrow being better. Looking back, she was correct, is still correct, and will ultimately be correct. Today, facing the aging process with all its challenges, I know exactly what my mother would say, if I could talk with her \u2013 \u201cIt will all be better tomorrow.\u201d I envision meeting her some day on heaven\u2019s golden streets, surrounded by beautiful mansions, reveling in God\u2019s glory, and hearing my mother say, \u201cDidn\u2019t I tell you it would all be better tomorrow?\u201d What would your mother say?<\/p>\n
