As I was preparing for the second session of training for young pastors as a part of the Valley Baptist Missions Education Center, I was reminded of how much we need each other.\u00a0 Ministry is both difficult and demanding.\u00a0 A support group is an absolute necessity. Hymn writer and author, Helen Keller, said, \u201cAlone we can do so little, together we can do so much.\u201d Ken Blanchard, who published over sixty books, including \u201cThe One Minute Manager,\u201d said, \u201cNone of us is as smart as all of us.\u201d Using plural words, \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d and \u201cour,\u201d the writer of Hebrews wrote, \u201cTherefore we<\/u> also, since we<\/u> are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,\u00a0let us<\/u> lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares\u00a0us<\/u>,\u00a0and\u00a0let us<\/u> run\u00a0with endurance the race that is set before us<\/u>,\u00a0looking unto Jesus, the\u00a0author and\u00a0finisher of\u00a0our<\/u>\u00a0faith,\u00a0who for the joy that was set before Him\u00a0endured the cross, despising the shame, and\u00a0has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God\u201d (Hebrews 12:1-2).\u00a0 Consider who is on your team this week.\u00a0 Thank them and make them better.
