I just heard that child abuse was on a dramatic rise.\u00a0 Somewhere there is a person planning to abuse a child.\u00a0 Stop them, Lord!\u00a0 Redirect their thinking for good and not evil.\u00a0 Somewhere there is a group of people planning to traffic children.\u00a0 Put a detour in their path, Lord.\u00a0 Divert their paths into the arms of the authorities for the safety of the children. Somewhere there are those who would use children to accomplish their sinful purposes.\u00a0 Re-channel their purposes, Lord, \u00a0toward the positive and away from the negative.\u00a0 Somewhere there are sinful people using sinful methods to abuse the young and use them to win their way. Remind them, Lord, that You and You alone are the One \u201cwho gives us the victory\u201d \u00a0(1 Corinthians 15:57).\u00a0 Somewhere evil people are trying to use children to build their own kingdom. Block their plans, Lord.\u00a0 As my grandfather used to say, \u201cHead \u2018em off at the pass\u201d. Allow what You said to happen – \u201cLet the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 19:14)\u201d Let them be the \u201ckingdom of heaven\u201d and not the habitation of a hell-like existence. Even as you defeat the enemy, call out from the abused, children, whom You can use to serve in Your kingdom. As You \u201cdeliver . . . from the evil one.\u201d \u00a0remind all of us that \u201cYours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.\u201d (Matthew 6:18).<\/p>\n
