My Mother has been in heaven for a long time in earthly measurement. One of the things I remember about my mother was the things she said frequently.\u00a0 Here are three of them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Time to get up. Are you going to sleep your life away?<\/li>\n<li>Nothing much good happens after midnight!<\/li>\n<li>I don\u2019t care what other mothers say.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And my favorite, spoken every morning as I left the house for school until I went away to college \u2013 \u201cDo the best you can, with what you have, where you are, for Jesus\u2019 sake, today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then there are these three favorite Mother\u2019s Day quotes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers. \u2014Rudyard Kipling<\/li>\n<li>Moms are life\u2019s number one cheerleaders without uniforms. \u2014Richelle E. Goodrich<\/li>\n<li>\u201cTo the world, you are a mom. To a child, you are the world.\u201d &#8211; Unknown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget three favorite Mother songs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faith of our mothers, living faith, we will be true to thee till death. Arthur Bardwell Patten<\/li>\n<li>Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleading I denied<br \/>\nThat leaves only me to blame, &#8217;cause mama tried. Merle Haggard<\/li>\n<li>A brand new angel in the choir, and I&#8217;m gonna hear her sing . . . I&#8217;ve got more to go to Heaven for, than I had yesterday!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And three favorite Scripture verses about Mothers:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strength and honor\u00a0are\u00a0her clothing;She shall rejoice in time to come.She opens her mouth with wisdom,and on her tongue\u00a0<em>is<\/em>the law of kindness. Proverbs 31:25-26<\/li>\n<li>Do not forsake the law of your mother;For they\u00a0will be\u00a0a\u00a0graceful ornament on your head, and chains about your neck.
