I have learned that much advice takes many words, but some of the best advice takes only four words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Think before you speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 No pain, no gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Go with the flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Be still and know (Psalm 46:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other advice is even more brief, like three words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Always be nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Do your best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Enjoy every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 \u201cLove one another\u2019 (John 13:34).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How about two-word advice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Be honest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Accept yourself<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 \u201cJudge not\u201d (Matthew 7:1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collecting these words of advice and compiling them into a soon to be released book, is one of the most challenging things I have done in recent years. The title of the book comes from my High School Baseball Coach &#8211; \u201cDon\u2019t Die on Third.\u201d Would you like to assist?
