A Three-Year Old Response<\/p>\n
The fact that Jesus loved children is clearly established in scripture – Jesus said, \u201cLet the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven\u201d (Matthew 19:14).\u00a0 I just worder how He would have reacted to my three-year old great granddaughter, Joanna Rose (Rosie) Kennedy who announced the other day that Jesus had told her that all the toys in Mattel Toy Store were for her.\u00a0 When I asked her about all the other little girls that might not have any toys in the store, her reply was, \u201cThat\u2019s up to Jesus.\u201d This\u00a0 exchange makes me proud of three things. (1) A three-year-old knowing and talking about Jesus.\u00a0 I have been in parts of the world where adults don\u2019t know as much about Jesus as my great-granddaughter. (2) A three-year-old can make a quick response about Jesus. I\u2019ve seen adults have to think a long-time when asked a question about Jesus. (3) A three-year-old wants all the toys in the store, but is willing to make allowances for other little girls.\u00a0 Some adults wouldn\u2019t even be willing to leave it up to Jesus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
