{"id":3904,"date":"2026-01-04T08:27:23","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T14:27:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/discipleallnations.org\/members\/?p=3904"},"modified":"2026-01-04T08:27:23","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T14:27:23","slug":"3904","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/discipleallnations.org\/members\/2026\/01\/3904\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Year\u2019s Resolutions<\/p>\n<p>Have you made your New Year\u2019s Resolution yet; or perhaps already broken the one you made last week?\u00a0\u00a0I gave up making resolutions several years ago, but I do find them interesting.\u00a0\u00a0C.S. Lewis once said, \u201cYou are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Bestselling American author,\u00a0Melody Beattie, who wrote numerous self-help books, wrote, \u201cThe new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0So rather than set resolutions, I set goals and dream dreams. Oh, and at my age, 9pm is the new midnight.\u00a0\u00a0The transition came when I began to celebrate when the ball fell in New York and slowly moved up in time-zones as my bedtime moved to an earlier hour.\u00a0\u00a0So, here are a few quotes about the new year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cYou know how I always dread the whole year?
