In a couple of days, radio stations will blast out a song from 1967, \u201cIt\u2019s the third of June, another sleepily, dusty Delta day . . .\u201d And thousands of persons will once again try to figure out what Billie Joe MacAllister was throwing \u201coff the Tallahatchie Bridge.\u201d While it is fun to explore the unknown, it is better to rest in the known, such as who is Jesus (\u201cThe Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.\u201d John 1:29. \u201cThis is Jesus the King of the Jews\u201d Matthew 27:37) Did He really die on a cross? (\u2018The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.\u201d Revelation 13:8. \u201cThey crucified Him.\u201d. Matthew 27:35). Did he really rise again from the dead (\u201cHe is not here. He is risen.\u201d Luke 24:6. \u201cWhom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.\u201d Acts 2:24). Is He really coming again? (\u201c For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.\u201d I Thessalonians 4:16. \u201cI am going away and coming back to you.\u201d John 14:28).
