{"id":454,"date":"2009-01-12T23:12:45","date_gmt":"2009-01-13T05:12:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/disciple.user3.archhosting.net\/members\/?p=454"},"modified":"2017-12-31T16:43:39","modified_gmt":"2017-12-31T22:43:39","slug":"what-would-jesus-do-with-facebook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/discipleallnations.org\/members\/2009\/01\/what-would-jesus-do-with-facebook\/","title":{"rendered":"What Would Jesus Do with Facebook?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have concluded (maybe \u201csurvived\u201d would be a better word) my first week as a participant on Facebook, defined by Wikipedia as \u201ca popular, free-access social networking website.\u201d Founded by a sophomore at Harvard University in 2004, the website currently has more than 150 million active users worldwide. Of course, like most everything else these days, it involves the Internet. As I excitedly re-connected with old friends and connected with new friends, the question arose, WWJD (you remember &#8211; \u201cWhat Would Jesus Do?\u201d). I haven\u2019t exactly come to a conclusive answer to that question as yet. Maybe you could click on \u201cLeave a reply\u201d or \u201cPost a comment\u201d below and share your insight. I do think I know what the Apostle Paul would do, given his desire to, as he said, \u201cbecome all things to all men, that I might by all means save some\u201d (1 Cor. 9:22). I think Paul would quickly join and take advantage of this modern method of sharing life with everyone he could. He\u2019d have one of the largest \u201cfriend\u201d lists of all. After all, it was he who proclaimed, we are \u201cmembers of one another\u201d (Rom 12:5). Having solved (at least in my mind) Paul\u2019s response to Facebook, I\u2019m still wondering WWJD?
