Over the past few weeks I have communicated with a number of God-called ministers who are no longer in vocational ministry. While there are some understandable and legitimate reasons, there are also some not-so-good reasons. I\u2019ve also met a few people recently who once felt called to be involved in church activities but now find themselves outside the fellowship of a local church and equally outside the service of the Lord. My response is to share two quotes; the first is from the Bible: \u201cI have called you by your name; you are Mine\u201d (Isa 43:1). The second quote is from television football: \u201cIt takes indisputable evidence to overrule a call on the field.\u201d If you have drifted from your call, I ask you, what is your indisputable evidence for overruling the call of God? Get back in the game and help others do the same. If you are, as best you can determine, in the middle of where God wants you to be, look around, identify and minister to those who are not.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Pray for a guardianship issue with a missionary couple serving in Uganda. A decision will be made Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Uganda time (approximately midnight Monday, U.S. time).
\n\u2022 The Winter Olympic Ministry begins with the torch relay across Canada on October 30. Pray for ministry volunteers.
\n\u2022 Pray for missionaries preparing Christmas ministries for the forgotten children of Myanmar (Burma).
