It was one of those weeks. Early morning to late night for five days. A four hour flight on Saturday that turned into six hours due to storms. Three sermons preached on Sunday plus a break-out session lead. I was physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually exhausted. In an attempt to ease the pain of my private pity party, I posted my feelings on Facebook. I know, I know, but at least I wasn\u2019t boring readers with what I had for dinner or the latest traffic jam, or my farm animals. I received a significant response, mostly encouraging, some humorous. I have the funniest friends on Facebook. If fact, if you need an occasional laugh, become my Facebook friend (but tell me who you are so I won\u2019t delete you by mistake). Anyway, as I was I scrolling through the responses, I came to one that simply said, \u201cStrength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, right?\u201d Even though I recognized the idea from the old hymn, \u201cGreat is Thy Faithfulness\u201d based on Lamentations 3:22-23, it was a fresh word. A much needed word. A word worth sharing. So, if you are tired \u2013 physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually \u2013 I pray that you find strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow. Right? Right!<\/p>\n
