Some windows are large, others small. Some are cute but have limited benefit. A few have spiritual significance. There are round windows, rectangular windows, storm windows, solar windows, stained glass windows. Regardless of the size, shape, or significance, all windows do at least three things: (1) They shut out \u2013 wind, dust, heat, bugs, etc., (2) They admit \u2013 air, light, etc., and (3) They release \u2013 whatever is poured or thrown out. The Bible says God will \u201copen\u201d the \u201cwindows of heaven\u201d and \u201cpour out\u201d a \u201cblessing\u201d that we will not have room to receive (Malachi 3:10). Wow! How do I take advantage of all these godly \u201cblessings\u201d? Oh, that\u2019s the tough part! I\u2019ve got to give in order to receive. Just like I must insert my cash card into the ATM in order to get cash out of the ATM, likewise I must put blessing into the heavenly window, before receiving any blessing from same window. You can\u2019t draw money out of the bank unless you\u2019ve put money into the bank. The same scripture passage in Malachi instructs me to \u201cbring all the tithes into the storehouse.\u201d Simple formula: tithe in, blessings out. What does your checkbook tell you about your faith?<\/p>\n
