You never know who is watching you. For several months I have been doing my early morning walking at a nearby shopping mall. Since the stores do not open until later, the only people in the mall are walkers and there are a good number of them. Fast walkers pass slower walkers and slow walkers are passed by faster walkers. Greetings are exchanged, but few conversations are held. Walkers come and go. I often wish one of the coffee shops would open early so I could fellowship with fellow walkers, but it hasn\u2019t happened. So I continue to walk anonymously, or so I was thinking. One particular couple always seemed extra friendly. Last week, as I walked pass them, he asked, \u201cHow\u2019s your ministry in Vancouver going?\u201d Long story short, they are members of a nearby church where I have shared the story of my Vancouver ministry. Until that revelation, I thought no one in the mall knew me. I remember a word passed on to me by my late Pastor-Father \u2013 \u201cThe most dangerous place to be is where you think no one knows who you are.\u201d I came home and re-read the second half of 1 Timothy 4:12, \u201cBe an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity\u201d and thanked God that I had not done or said anything at the mall to tarnish my \u201cexample\u201d. Be careful this week. You never know who is watching you.<\/p>\n
