Fortunately, for those like Paul\u2019s readers in Colossae, teaching accompanied warning. \u201cHim we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.\u201d (Colossians 1:28). \u201cWarning\u201d relates to repentance, to one\u2019s conduct, and is addressed primarily to the heart. \u201cTeaching\u201d relates to faith, refers to doctrines, and is addressed primarily to the intellect. The Bible teaches us what to do and then warns us of the consequences of not obeying the teaching. So how are you doing today with what you have been taught? How many warnings do you deserve?<\/p>\n
